Media 2 Learn works with organizations, businesses and subject matter experts ("SME") to develop web video/multimedia content that facilitate learning to: make informed decisions; perform new tasks; use new products; and deepen skills and knowledge. Media2Learn helps clients define their online learning needs, determine user, functional and system requirements and develop prototypes and solutions.

Media2Learn's approach to effective online learning is to offer a complete online learning solution:

1) Develop modular, interactive, multimedia lessons that enable learners to progress at their own pace;

2) Provide online scheduling and collaboration tools to enable learners to initiate live online collaboration sessions with SMEs for consultation and feedback;

3) Provide e-commerce tools that enable learners to pay for online lessons and collaboration sessions.

This approach is antithetical to the traditional instructor-led, classroom-based teaching model used by academic institutions for the past 300 years.

In the coming months the Media2Learn website will evolve into an easy-to-use online learning environment that will enable SMEs to share their knowledge, insights, talents, and expertise with eager learners anywhere (with high speed fixed or mobile Internet access). This environment will be well-suited to non-academic learning, such as professional development and life-long learning.
